It’s been quite a journey with forty-one years of work experience in public schools as an educator, principal, and district educational psychologist.

 

I have worked for the department of education as a Senior Educational Psychologist in the Education Operation Support Directorate with the specialization of rendering support to the Special Schools Sub-Directorate in Sedibeng East District of the Gauteng, Department of Education.

 

I have aided countless clients for exemption from compulsory school attendance if they were not ready to benefit from formal Grade 1 tuition.

In November 2016, I retired from public service to start a new journey as an
Educational Psychologist in private practice with a notable special interest in school readiness assessment, ADHD, support of learners with barriers to learning focused on learner development which includes parental education.

Furthermore, I have had great success in aiding support to children and parents that battle with relationship challenges.
 

Prior to moving to Gordons bay I was appointed as coordinator of the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Support Group of South Africa in the Vaal triangle, which included presenting at national various national conferences on the subject matter of ADHD and parent/child relationships.

I relocated to Gordons bay in November 2020 where I started working as a locum psychologist at a medical center in Goodwood.

 

I officially restarted my private practice as Educational psychologist in the Gordons bay/Strand/Overberg area in July 2021.
